Filtration that supports comfort and system performance
A quality filter does two important jobs: it helps improve indoor air quality and it protects the HVAC system from dirt buildup that can reduce efficiency. FP Filtration® air filters are designed to deliver dependable capture performance while maintaining airflow when properly sized and selected.
The key is choosing the correct size and MERV level for your system and the environment. Higher filtration can be beneficial—especially for allergies or dusty sites—but airflow and static pressure must still stay within equipment limits.
If you’re unsure about sizing or which rating is best, we can help you match the right FP Filtration option to your return grille, filter rack, or air handler.

FP Filtration Filters — FAQs
How often should I change my HVAC filter?
Many homes replace 1" filters every 30–90 days, depending on pets, dust, and runtime. Always follow equipment recommendations and inspect regularly.
Should I choose a higher MERV rating?
Higher MERV can improve capture, but the system must handle the added resistance. If airflow drops, you may need a different filter thickness or setup.
How do I confirm my filter size?
Use the printed size as a starting point, then measure the actual filter (length × width × thickness). Some frames vary slightly from nominal sizes.
